Apologies for the wait! One last post to wrap this up :D

Shego turned as she realised there was a boy who had happened upon them. A stranger. One who did not know of their plans — who could not know of their plans. Her words and gaze were venomous unlike Lakhesis' own, but the other witch's fur bristled as he stared back at them. He seemed startled. The girl almost went to go soothe him, ask how much he had heard and assure him they didn't mean he any harm.

The boy fled, though, his slim form dissipating into the darkness of the forest around them. There was a screech beside her from Shego who cursed at the young wolf who refused to answer her question. Lakhesis stared after him, eyes narrowed and, for a moment, she wanted to give chase. Instead, the two witches remained at his hiding spot, seething and planning. They had to be more careful.
