Mudminnow River Drifting Away

Celeste was barely able to close her eyes before a warning bark alerted her to the fact she was not alone on the shore of the river. Celeste's ears twitched as she looked in the direction of the bark. A sleek gray wolf was approaching her direction. She rose from where she lay, but she was careful not to come across as any sort of threat to the wolf she discovered was in fact from a pack. 

Celeste managed a small polite smile and ignored the slightly rude tone of the female. She had every right to know what this strange black wolf was doing near her turf so Celeste proceeded to answer her quesiton. "My name is Celeste, I'm not from around this area but I've been wandering a while. You are?" she said returning the question with a slight tilt to her head. 

Celeste's gaze briefly returned to the sun that was growing higher and higher into the sky. "Pretty sight isn't it," she said deciding this wolf wouldn't hurt her and sitting down. The gray fae seemed friendly enough she was just making sure that the "stranger" wasn't a threat. Smart wolf. She mused as she waited for the fae to reply.
