He wasn't sure he believed — or wanted to believe, perhaps — that Lasher's words were the full truth through the presently throbbing painful love for Perry that beat inside his heart, but he would keep them in mind. Pan looked surprised when Lasher began to speak of rabbits, offering him a hunt and a meal before he would return to the Caldera. After a few seconds of hesitation, Pan agreed with a nod of his head. "Yes, okay." Hunting would get his mind off the heavy subjects that they had breeched, and so he thankfully accepted the offer and waited for Lasher to lead the way, for he knew better where to head to reach the warren he'd mentioned.
