Zaria laid down in a way that her shoulder was relieved from any pressure, it was the first thing Mason had seen about her. She hated that she was so weak and useless. But luckily it was Mason who was around her. The girl tried to watch him, to see if she got any feedback to what she said. At first she wanted to say that he was still alive because of her, but that felt like the wrong thing to say. She didn't want to hurt him further. The slender female watched with care as he stepped closer. She was used to him being close to her but still because Zaria was in a weaker state she almost felt distrustful towards him.
She looked from the corner of her eyes to the younger wolf coming in closer. Zaria's lip trembled a bit, wanting to curl it up, as Mason went to grab her her scruff. She didn't know that it was to check how dehydrated she was. Once Mason pulled on the skin she let out a yelp in pain and struggled slightly, growling. She wasn't a weakling that was for sure. But her mouth was dry and her energy drained. The female wanted to sit up but he legs slowly gave out so she slipped down again. She didn't feel sick, she knew her wounds didn't have pus or smelled weird. Zaria just felt like a limp puddle of limbs.
She frowned when Mason ran off to get her something to drink. How was the male even going to get water to her? She knew for a fact that water couldn't be carried. Reluctantly Zaria pushed her upper body up, she was sitting somewhat, more slumped compared to her normally proud demeanor. Now her back legs, but she didn't find the energy. Could this really happen because she was thirsty? Her stubbornness wanted her to move with him but her body was refusing to listen. She would have to wait for Mason's return then.
