Regi followed after her eagerly enough, keeping pace with her excited steps if because of the length of his own. He left some distance between them, though, keeping the reminder of how she shied away from him at the forefront of his mind. The bear allowed her to take point while he brought up the rear, comfortable enough with letting her brave ahead. She spun then, catching Regi off guard for a moment as she let out a loud gasp, eliciting a startled expression from the Frostfur-DiSarinno whose ears slicked back to his skull, eyes of liquid gold studying the darkness before her for any sign of danger. It was only after she pointed out what had made her gasp that realization had dawned on him that her gasp had not been one of fear but of excitement, instead. Embarrassment crept beneath his chocolate colored fur, heating his cheeks as he relaxed and let out a sheepish little smile.

“I don't know,” He admitted with a lofty shrug of his broad shoulders as he meandered towards the steam, glimpsing into it's blue depths with unbidden curiosity. He watched as she “taste tested” it with her tongue. “Hopefully it's not poisonous.” She hadn't drank it but even so. He couldn't claim that he'd ever seen water so blue before and he wasn't sure if he should be suspicious of it or not. “I wonder where it leads to.” And what they might find if they decided to follow it.
