She appraised her stormy grey coat, her figure and her face. There was nothing suggestively dominant about Tavi, which Saena was satisfied with, and the woman certainly didn't seem like a beggar. That she was a mischief-maker who had been about to callously disregard her carefully laid borders, Saena was still oblivious to.

Tavi's compliment was surprisingly flattering to Saena, who was unable to hide a genuine smile—no doubt fueled from the same egotistical source as her inexplicable jealousy—but the alpha female couldn't afford to flaunt.
