He couldn't even picture it, Lasher or Blue trying to get rid of them. He doubted there was anything (short of more serious slights) that they could do to warrant such a reaction. Even if they were downright awful in their later years. It still posed an amusing thought.

When they reached her den, she requested a rest and he nodded readily, understanding. He wasn't sure for himself... but soon decided that anything that needed doing could be done after a nap. The break sounded good to him too, and so did further catching up with Osprey. Even if they wouldn't do much talking. It would be nice to rest next to someone again, something he hadn't done since she'd disappeared all those months ago.

Everything else could wait. "Sounds perfect.". There'd be plenty of time later.
