Totoka River my cathedral is the badlands

Lex hadn’t been to the Bay before he’d come to Moonspear and so trying to find it is turning out to be a challenge.  He didn’t know how long their scent would linger, if at all, once they’d left it behind.  Nonetheless, Lex wants to try and see if the wolf Charon speaks of still lingers the coast.  He hadn’t asked why or why the female is special but he’s curious to know and why he stood with ocean in the distance, just out of sight, and the sound of waves hitting weren’t too far from his destination.  

A faint smell of wolves lingers, like a ghost of those left behind, and he turns and keeps walking.  He doesn’t turn to the ocean, lifting his nose and taking a deep breath.  The air is salty and residue clings to his lips.  The sound behind him is soothing enough that he doesn’t rush to get out of there, sticking around a little while longer to see if he could find someone to point him in the right direction of the white bodied black headed wolf.

What a weird pattern.
