Rolled a 3 (major injury) - i am cry
She had left the girl and the mountainside after a bit more conversation, and headed the opposite way - having gathered enough knowledge from her to know north was not the way she wanted. So Eigma followed the hills, heading south-east, until reaching a river where she made her camp for the night. Following that, she carefully navigated beyound the river. There were some faint signs here and there of wolf activity, but nothing overt; still, if there were indications here, there must be some closer to the mountain.
So she headed along the riverside until it tapered away, finding a jagged route at the base of the hills which she tried to traverse. It was difficult - Eigma was not made for mountain climbing - and she did not make it far before nightfall.
The next morning, with her paws sore and the pads beginning to show some wear and tear, she tried to take it easy. Eigma wanted to find the spire wolves she had been told about - Charon would not send her on a wild goose chase, would he? - but throughout her investigation, she could find no sign of wolves upon this mountain. Maybe it was the wrong mountain?
With the air growing thin the higher she went, and colder, with snow-covered patches becoming more common, Eigma was out of her element - and running out of options. She came to the conclusion that Charon had sent her away to do this fool's task on purpose; maybe he disliked her fighting skills, or her attitude, or maybe he was just saying no because he could. Eigma was tired, hungry, and cold by the time she began making her way down the cliffside - and with each step, she grew more bitter towards the boy-king.
In her haste to make it down the mountain, Eigma deviated from her route; she had planned to go back down the same way she came up, but the spire was a tricky beast. The paths all looked the same to her, and with her mind distracted by her agitation towards Charon, she did not notice when her paws carried her down a new path. She thought she had a good memory for terrain - especially since she had just traveled through the area mere hours ago - but alas, Eigma misjudged things. One wrong step (thinking that there was a turn ahead between the trees, but really there wasn't), meant that in the next moments, there was nothing beneath her paws. The ground sloped sharply down and she, finding nothing but air, began to tumble.
There was nothing beneath her for a good ten feet. Then as she came slamming to the earth, she landed sideways. The crack of her ribcage was nearly inaudible considering the number of trees she hit. With nothing but fresh growth to stop her from rolling, away she went - scrambling to try and grab anything with the crook of her limbs, or her teeth, or even her belly. The smallest of the trees collapsed beneath her weight and the juvenile growth stood firm, but redirected her tumbling body with each blow.
When the chaos stopped, Eigma's body came to rest with a loud crack as her head caught a nice chunk of old growth, straight to the back. It all but knocked her out - but at least the world had stopped spinning.
