Hawkeye was used to the suckling by now, and was able to rest while the pups intermittently fed and slept. At this moment, though, her eyes were fix upon the far wall of the den. The black female sighed, wishing that Pied, or someone, would visit her. The Alpha was a roamer and an adventurer at heart, and being stuck in a hole all day being drained of milk was boring and exhausting her mentally.

When Peregrine entered though, her tailed flopped happily until she could make out a small object in his mouth; then, Peregrine told her of Pied's last wishes. Kisu came in as well, dropping off another pup, just as tiny as the first. She looked at Kisu a moment, then back to Peregrine, nodding at the words he had just shared and mourning in silence.
