uh oh.....guess that's one pack Traj probably won't join for winter then...Maybe he'll go find Seb instead..xD

A low warning growl rumbled out from the charcoal tank's throat and Trajan felt a cold feeling snake its way up his spine. Nevertheless, he held his ground and dug his blunt claws into the earth, ready to take off any moment if needed, or even better...fight back. It seemed like the pale eyed wolf was not the talkative type which was in a way, rather annoying but also, refreshing at the sametime. Annoying because he liked to see the reaction of other wolves to his sarcastic quips and refreshing because a wolf was finally acting wild, acting like a real wild wolf. Most wolves back home didn't adhere to their natural instincts of survival but to the ways of Rome which was normal, to them, but Trajan liked the idea of going along with their instincts.

However, Trajan most definitely did not like wolves who attacked in the middle of his sentence and that was exactly what the male did. He rushed forward like a huge charging dark gray bull, head lowered. It was clear that he wasn't giving his best; he wasn't aiming to kill but to warn him off. Immediately, Trajan skidded sideways, eyes narrowed, trying to get away from the wolf's path. He managed to do that just in time and skedaddle out of the older male's path.

The Roman didn't run away however, instead, adrenaline and anger fueled him and he turned around to look at the older male. "I'm sorry for acting so arrogantly and vainly just now," Trajan apologised sincerely, tail low and head down then he raised his smoky gray crown and frowned. "But you could've just attacked right after I spoke. I mean, I know that's playing fair and wolves don't play fair but....man, c'mon." Trajan crouched, tail swiping the air behind him, head low to protect his neck and pulled his black lips ever so slightly backwards to show his teeth. "I told ya, I'm not here to cause trouble. I'm just here to hunt." Trajan suppressed a growl as he said that. Just because he apologised didn't mean he was angry, because he was. He'd only apologised because it was the 'right' thing to do, but after he did the 'right thing', he always followed his instincts.

Yep. Shadow taught him weird things.

If the charcoal wolf attacked, then it was on. If he didn't, then maybe both of them would come out unscathed and maybe Traj would survive winter.
