Harlyn was pleased to hear that she was settling in well, and even more so when she went on to explain those of the pack she had thus far met - Mordecai first amongst them.  She dipped her muzzle with a smile to show her approval before her gaze moved out towards the meadow yet again.  

The alpha's face twisted in a small frown as her mind went back to the cougar at Root's bidding.  Her gaze moved again as though she could spy from where she was the spot near the borders where she had found her injured mate.  "A few miles to the East of here, just beyond our borders," she replied, "Did he tell you what happened?"  She was wondering specifically if she knew about the coyote the cat had been chasing, intent on filling her in should she be unaware.
