Tev was his name. I'm Dash, he replied simply. His eyes glanced this way and that, trying to figure out something more to say that wasn't totally stupid. Not that he generally cared what others thought, but he was trying not to be a total social outcast.

Where did you come from- before you joined? he asked, knowing Tev hadn't been here when the pack was founded. He sat back on his haunches, a sign he had nowhere to go at this particular moment. Tev may have been lower ranking, but Dash wasn't usually one to push his own dominance, whether he was technically above them or not.
