Blackfeather Woods The Watcher in the Woods

Burke was once again on border patrol. He was working hard towards his guardian specialty now he found that being a warrior was asking too much of his aging body. The heavy set male liked to do his round and scent mark the area. They did not have much trespassers lately which also showed in their borders lacking their dead bodies as a warning sign. Still Burke had strategically placed the rotten bodies so they would give away their horrible stench. The grey tank made surprisingly not a lot of noise, he could be silent and often used the shadows to hide himself in as taught by Meldresi before she died. 

Burke soon noticed a different smell which indicated to a loner. The male moved quietly further through his woods. The large male stepped forward from the shadows once he was close. The male's face was stoic and calm. His pale eyes falling to the bear cub at her feet did make him question a lot of things. Burke bared his teeth a bit, because normally wolves who wanted to join would howl for them. This one was waiting at their borders and Burke wondered what she was planning. He did not like the fact that she could have been planning something. "What is your business here?," he questioned sharply. She looked frail, but the fact that she had a bear cub was stating other things.
