Fox glanced to Bazi, but made no move to follow the girl. Instead, she watched on as the stranger admitted defeat and agreed to go along with Lecter, reluctantly so. Fox broke her silence then, addressing Lecter directly. “Lecter, I’ll leave it up to you to decide how to handle her.” That was probably already obvious, but she wanted to make sure she said it aloud just in case.

Fox then turned to the black female. “Stranger, what is your name?” Captive or not, Fox wanted to know the names of those who resided within the creek's borders. Perhaps names did not matter to some, but to Fox, they were at least somewhat important.
