As he neared, his tail and ears went down and he reached out with his snout in an effort to bump the leader's chin. All the while, he curled his body slightly, approaching at a mild crabwalk, as if to somehow indicate there was something interesting for the Alpha's nose on his withers, though the behaviour was also somewhat submissive.
