The anger that radiated from Luke was more than palpable, and he felt his hackles prickle uneasily. But he could understand that anger because on some level he also had it. Yet in his life he had been more thankful to have survived and since then, so many things had come to light that changed whether or not he would have entertained the thought of vengeance. Even though he now knew that such a feline had a name, Mordecai's vengeance only went so far as not to acknowledge it.

His head bowed slightly, a sigh leaking its way out from between his lips. "That's not something you do alone," he started off, trying to find words. Words that somehow he found himself pondering whether or not he should say. "But if that cat comes near again, that will surely be what happens to it. It's a fool's errand to go after him; there's too much here to worry after." Of course, even he knew that he may as well have been speaking for himself.
