Root was excited. Her words came in a happy rush that warmed Jazz's uneasiness just some and had her spirits lifting. That and the fact that the Alpha did not seem horrible too -- not that she had expected Root to be happy with a nasty leader. But, so long as this went well, this could be the start of something good for them both. It was no wonder she was excited, and Jazz's tail gave a few small wags. "I'm Jazz," she interjected somewhere where it seemed appropriate, since her sister had covered a lot of the other worthwhile bullet points.

Then, a question just for her. She hoped she didn't seem too flustered when she sucked in a quick breath, attempting to compose herself well enough to answer as sagely as she could. Anything you need me to do was the first thing that came to mind, but she wanted to set herself apart better than that -- even if that was the case. "I can hunt alright, and guard. Patrols, the like.. I'm best at that," she nodded, for it was what she had the most experience with. She liked the monotony of circling borders, but also was not afraid to throw blows if she needed to when things went wrong.

Jazz didn't feel right rambling on, so cut it off there with an imploring look in the Alpha's direction to see if he needed to hear more than just that.
