Venus laid in the same spot. She was a naturally protective wolf, plus her moss was here, and she didn't feel like moving. She rested her head on her paws, keeping her brown eyes open. The shadowy forest moved in the wind as an eerie fog set it. She smiled lightly and decided it was better if she slept, even if it was a light snooze. She would keep her body alert, but still asleep. She yawned and fell into a light sleep, waking up to hear the smallest sounds. A chipmunk throwing a nut from his tree, a bird taking off from a branch, and small scurrying of mice underneath her. The world is alive, and Venus would really know this when she woke up tired the next morning.
