Once the coyote spoke, however, Reek realized his error. Her voice suggested age unlike her meager size, causing Reek's ears to splay back with disappointment. "Oh, nevermind..." he mumbled. "I thought you were someone else." His body language remained friendly, but the happy bounce to his step was lost in his realization.
