I sort of intended that it was a one roll deal! He was going to try to catch her, but she got away because you won the roll, so he's going to scoot before he gets his tail chewed off by her pack ;)

It had been a daring move on his part; he sought to make a point and to seize control in an instant, but like a seafaring fish she slipped from his grasp just as quickly. He had underestimated her, in a way, and as she parried his attack he sprang to the side to avoid her countermeasure. Her teeth snapped in the air.
