"It still seems to me that being at a war for over a decade is a waste of good lives. I mean... I don't want to undermine the neccessity to learn, how to defend yourself and fight, yet... doing it so for the prospect of dying in a battle-field?" Osprey wondered, whether there could have been a different way to resolve a conflict. More often than not the fights were about resources. And if two packs could not settle their differences for more than ten years, then perhaps one of them could have packed their things and left. Being on the move was never easy, but at least it would spare lives. 

"But I won't judge matters, which do not concern me. Forgive me," she cast a quick, friendly glance at Aria and got up to her feet. "I feel thirsty - care to walk with me and find a stream to drink from? There was one just around here. Definitely," she closed her eyes a bit, drawing the map of Donnelaith in her mind, looking for directions and, when it was clear, she beckoned the girl to follow.
