"'Bad River' sounds great," he told her with a laugh, turning his head to look at the churning river once more and silently admiring the beauty of the waters. As pretty as it may look, Kyron knew it was just as dangerous as a landslide or a fallen mountain. He'd seen firsthand what water could do to harm and was in no hurry to see it again; he'd prefer to stay away from it altogether unless it was for something important like drinking or fishing.

Shaking himself from his thoughts, the persian turned to follow Eshe once more, content to hang out with her; she sure was good company compared to the months of complete loneliness.
