Mara's mind was still racing, Peak had told her he loved her and out of fear and pressure the young wolf had told him she felt the same in return, when truthfully she didn't know how to feel. The white male was great, kind and caring but age was quite a difference and she wasn't sure she loved him romantically. The young fae had been without her brother for months and she believed her mind confused love for anyone resembling him at all. She didn't want to be the ivory mans mate, she had just joined Silvertip, she didn't wish to be anyone's mate. Besides, he had spoken of wanting pup- and although she wishes to have her own one day, Peak would have to wait at least another year before she could have any. She felt her stomach ache, hurting him was the last thing she wanted. Especially being his "bandage" for depression.
The girl was trotted, too deep into her own mind she didn't even see her Beta soaking wet from a swim. Her head began to throb and she practically collapsed onto the ground. All these things were becoming overwhelming, from having to help Zaria, to having second thoughts on basically quitting her hunt for her brother, to having mixed feelings for both Steady and Peak. Despite all this she still didn't regret joining Silvertip, in fact she loved it!
Taking in deep breaths, still oblivious to Mason being close by , she tried to calm herself down. To rid of this headache and stomach issues. She tried to think that others had it worse, that she was just fine.
