Wild Berry Meadow Faint of heart

She continued to stroll along through the wintry meadow, her nervousness nearly gone now. What had she been afraid of again? It was just a forest. Just a shadowy, foggy, eerily silent forest. Nothing at all to be afraid of.

A heavy breath of silent laughter exited her muzzle and fogged in the air, and as she panned her amber eyes across the snow-covered terrain she spied another spot of color. It wasn't the green of the plants, nor did it resemble any trees or stones. It looked...actually, somewhat like a figure lying down.

Her ears perked, and just a little sliver of anxiety settled in the back of her mind. Obviously the individual was hiding. If he was hiding, that meant he didn't want to socialize with her. Tentatively, afraid of upsetting him, Mitanni stopped walking and settled slightly into her typical, almost-crouching posture, eyeing the stranger and wagging her tail a few times against her haunches in a friendly display. Hopefully that would appease him; if not, she'd just leave.
