Part of his tactic was flattery- had you joined him on each of his border meetings or recruiting errands you would find he complemented each wolf in some form or another. "I would quite love to have you join my pack. My name is Aaron, and you are standing beside the border of Rosings. I would also have you agree to our terms, if you wouldn't mind hearing them," the man told him, his ears cupping as he studied Samuel's response.

"We function in pairs. You will be assigned to a woman as your mate, and you will have no choice in her. The idea is that you both will encourage one another to be more active in the pack, as both of your ranks depend on the other," he explained with a raised eyebrow. 

"Do you agree to these terms?"
