And that was that -- with just a few simple words, Floki and Wildfire had made a huge decision about their future. In spite of his initial surprise, Floki felt at peace. This was the way things were supposed to work out, he was sure of it. Everything that had happened in his life -- his father's death, the move to Moonspear, his fight with Tevinter -- had led to this very moment, as cheesy as that sounded.

"I love you too," he replied, leaning into Wildfire's embrace. He shook his head gently at her next statement. "I prefer 'boo,' if you don't mind. 'Hubby' makes me sound...old," he said with a laugh. Although, if they played their cards right, they would eventually feel comfortable calling each other "hubby" and "wifey." The thought of spending the rest of his life with Wildfire was simultaneously daunting and comforting.
