Though spoken aloud and towards Thuringwethil, the words were primarily meant for herself and Depp. No more would be said on her part, if only because keeping her pride in check was hard enough already. Besides, further discussion would be meant only for her and her companion's ears, as they were the ones left to make the decisions where Seadog was concerned.
