When he mentioned she missed a spot, Tavi looked a bit like a deer in the headlights; eyes big, ears shooting straight up and then splaying to either side of her head. Pfft, whatever, she finally conceded, letting it be known that she had been bested by the dirt. Then, with nothing to do but wait and watch as Reek dug, Tavi grew bored. She paced just outside of the range of Reek's digging throws, swiping at a few piles of dirt as they whizzed out from behind him, and then plunged back in to the den without warning, squishing up beside him.
