Under Thistle Cloud's watchful gaze, the two boys backed down, though the air was still thick with tension. There was one last baring of teeth, and then Charon touched Floki gently, beckoning him to follow. For a moment, the boy was torn; he looked back at Tevinter, his identical twin. Aside from their build and the colors of their coats and eyes, there were no further similarities between them anymore. Tevinter's face was marked with scars just as ugly as his attitude had been. Disappointment washed over Floki before he pivoted and trailed after Charon.

His ears tilted back when he heard Tevinter's voice requesting an audience from Thistle Cloud at a later date. He paused for a split second, listening for his mother's reply, but did not turn around. He then strode forward once more, effectively severing the tie between himself and his brother.
