There had once even been a viking pack not far from there - their belief system being old. So... perhaps there were still packs that paid tributes to Athena, sacrificed for Zeus, believed in the underworld led by Hades and so on.

"We might as well be - there is a different religion that states that the god is around you and in everything. Each of us have the godly particle called soul."
