Whittier trudged along towards the riverside. It seemed the burst of energy he'd gotten finding himself in slightly familiar territory was short-lived, for now he felt himself beginning to drag again. Fortunately it was not a long walk, and there was no one around to judge him when he flopped onto ground to rest for a while before he actually started hunting.

Well, no one around except that guy over there.

Whit watched him as he headed towards the water. He was usually a very social creature, but at the moment he was too lazy to do much more than stare. That is until the other wolf flopped a fish up onto the bank beside him. Then Whittier was up and striding forward with a friendly smile upon his faded muzzle.

"Hey there," he called out, wagging his tail. eyes occassionally flickering towards the fish upon the ground.
