Gheheh, BunnyButt loves his tea parties! (But actually he just thinks strangers are stupid and they all need a very through explanation of what he wants) And you are welcome for the new Nickname! :P
Burke pale calm eyes instantly turned into an 'are-you-kidding-me?'-glance at the female when she asked if he could tell Nemesis that she was sorry. His face pulled back into his calm and reserved side. "No," he simply responded. He was not a messenger and frankly he found it rather disrespectful that she would even think of asking him such a thing. She could go to Nemesis herself and do it face-to-face. If one had enough courage to approach a wolf and admit a mistake it would give a lot more respect than just him telling Nemesis. She would probably laugh at the absurdity. Burke could only agree he would do the same. No apology accepted if it was face to face. By the very brief shocked expression the female had not known that Nemesis had been the beta of the Dark Brotherhood.
The docked alpha was pleased that she agreed. Technically they weren't that close that they would have to change anything they were doing now but it was good to know that they won't go on those neutral lands to hunt. Burke nodded shortly in agreement on her comment of the hunting matter. With that he closed that topic. He was glad that they could have talked so efficiently, yet mostly because of his own intervention. Alas, the female had not made a scene about it which he appreciated. He could not deal well with dramatic females. He liked his to be ambitious and straight to the point. Like his deceased mate Meldresi. Burke missed her and his face turned from a calm one more to grumpy one. This was also the moment she asked of him to thank Cicero for delivering her message. Deliver. Another. Message. Burke upper lip almost curled up over his teeth, now it was more a sign of clear disapproval.
"You could have done it without his help," he pointed out. Burke was a diplomatic guy, he would not instantly attack, but this Malice clearly thought he would, and he let her think that. Those carcasses on their border really worked in their favor at times. "Cicero was going his job, and now he is gone on another mission. If you want to tell something to wolves there is a thing called: 'approaching them'," Burke stated. "I'm not your Ambassador." Burke felt he had the right to be sassy right then, she was going to far, and he might look all calm Burke was giving her a clear verbal warning. Cicero might have done good, but it was only from his own initiative. It should have been her Scout/Ambassador that would have told him that she wanted to talk if they were going to look into the details here. Burke raised his chin a bit, pale eyes still looking straight into her eyes with a iced expression.
