“Just the leg,” he replied. He was not about to complain about his woes to Pump and admit his jealousy for her current (and in his mind) unfair position. His whole plan of moving here had turned into a real shit-show, and he doubted anything would be able to turn that around. The man was determined to be a real sourpuss, and nobody was going to be some kind of magical savior.

“I’ll be going now,” he said, ducking his head slightly to say good-bye to Pump. He did not wish to linger any longer, as he knew she would keep demanding his answer as to why he was upset. If she lacked the knowledge, then she did not deserve to know it. With nothing else to say to his leader, the dark male proceeded elsewhere.
