There were various medical caches stored deep within the territory, far from the borders, in various scattered locations that would be convenient to the pack wolves. They weren't hidden — all members of Sleeping Dragon were welcome to them — and some were not so much caches as growths. After all, the best way to keep a healthy store of any plant was to let it grow and keep it flourishing. It was to one such thriving spot that Lucani ventured now, calm but urgent. It was not a pretty area, for the Winter still had a hold on Sleeping Dragon, but the herbs she sought were taller than when last she'd seen them. She picked a few, and was careful but not stingy. Only the best would do for their Heda.
