Her teammate had been Thuringwethil; it had been with the young Heda that Lucani had exchanged observations. But that had not stopped the sharp-eyed healer from making a silent observation of her own. In a moment when the light had caught Dio's pale fur, Lucani had noticed a considerable gash.
