The battle continued – though she held no doubt Taggarik would hold fast to not only his prowess but his rank. With such rank came the entitlement to breed with who he deemed fit, and as the Beta slammed to the ground, the ebony male claimed his prize without even casting a second glance to the female who lead at his side.
 
She could feel Vuk’s gaze on her then – burning. She wanted nothing more than to despise the girl, but she could not – Capri had allowed her rank to be overthrown by something so simple as one of her subordinate’s heats coming upon them before her – as she had not kept it from happening.
 
Taggarik mounted the girl, and his motion was savage as he gripped Vuk close to him. The same way he had held the dark lone-wolf – and now, after he had told her none would take her place.
 
He began to rock against her – to thrust, and with her ears splaying back, Capri turned from the scene, her dark limbs steadily carrying her as far away from the coupling as she could get. She did not run – she maintained her stride as purposeful – her muzzle swinging high as her hackles bristled. Her heart once more feeling the break of betrayal.
 
She wanted nothing more than to step over those borders – away from this place. But she could not leave Terich-mir, and so, she sought him out, swallowing the burning ache in her throat as the emotion threatened to well over her features and out for the world to see.
