Pearl was a flurry of super-charged excited emotions, so naturally she gave her weary former leader the biggest smile she had before hugging him and giving him a lick on the cheek. She turned tail and ran towards the borders and her new future, calling out over her shoulder, "Thank you Lasher, goodbye!" 

She sent up a loud howl that she was sure would reach the rest, saying goodbye with an apology mixed in. Reaching the borders, she quickly sought out Sebastian, who had not gone far, and they started towards his claim and the future that laid ahead.
