It took longer than he had hoped to release his foot. But every movement he made caused a mini-cave in inside the hole, only burying his paw. "Why did this have to happen to me?" he murmured quietly, grunting as he pulled and pulled. Eventually Chaska pulled it out, giving it a shake.
