He did not really care what would happen to the fox, truthfully; smart pack mates would smell that something was wrong with it and they would know to stay away. Food didn't just show up or appear out of thin air, after all.
Giving the fox little second thought, Cicero turned away from the scene of the struggling fox and he made to return to the darker parts of the woods, waiting to see if Kendra would follow or if she would stay here and experiment a bit more.
