The large male was pretty hard to convince on these things but when it came to Potema and her mother he had always been a believer. He wanted to believe that she could talk to Meldresi. Burke missed her terribly. He wished to talk to her. To have her close again. He knew Kendra and Pietro would leave his den soon and Burke dreaded the day he would have to sleep alone.
