Naturally, as Amekaze was the more experienced hunter, Floki would defer to her. He waited for her to make the first move, but positioned himself to show that he was ready. He lowered his body, tail flicking predatorily as his muscles tensed. He anticipated that they would need to remain stealthy in order to sustain the element of surprise; a full-on rush would only spook the deer, and once it kicked its heels up and ran it would be difficult for them to catch it.
