He would defend his stead with iron tooth and onyx claw, as he expected his followers to. but if he could not be obeyed then he could not lead, and no matter how instantly he had become fond of Teagan, he would not accept a wolf that was not subservient to him. Though that was not to say that they couldn't be friends otherwise.
