Hushed Willows Lost in the forest of this heart

"Kunik," she told him. She might have mentioned it was a pleasure to meet him but that would be a lie. Nothing about their first encounter made her conjure the thought that he was pleasant to be around except for maybe the part where she had found a pack, if that's what they were. 

She cocked a brow at his name,"I have the strong feeling your father named you, if that is your birth name." It was not meant as a slight, her tone light and teasing. She made no inquiry of his real name, perhaps it was private. 

She tore off a chunk of the rabbit, happy that she would get some of it after all. Perhaps life in these willow groves wouldn't be so horrible.
