Ditty was still weighing the options days later. Go for it, don't go for it, run the fuck away before your biological clock will cost you your balls. The options were pretty dreadfull all in all, considering the consequences option one — which, without the cons, was the best option! — entailed. Ditty hadn't even considered the girl's thoughts in all of this. She wanted puppies too, right? He could see them now, their perfect little puppies wandering around, being all adorable. But then there were the consequences. Maybe option three didn't seem like the worst of choices.

Without realising, Ditty had wandered too close to the perimeter in which the mystery chick denned, and there it was again. That smell. Ditty bit his lip, knowing that it wasn't too late to run the fuck away and find a pack that wouldn't have his balls for shacking with some of the in-heat girls (maybe someone with an impotent Alpha male who was very happy to have Ditty create little Dittylets instead?!), but somehow his nose started to follow the trail all the way up to some den. All the while he was thinking, run! run! run! but all the while his paws just kept carrying him towards the source of the scent.
