They hadn't really gotten the chance to catch up much since the awkward situation with Deirdre, but when Lasher pulled up beside him, he accepted the company with a smile.  He'd gotten over the rather large dose of disappointment and, through avioding any encounters, managed so far not to repeat the mistake.  It was regrettable but a necessity.  In time hopefully the young witch would come around.

When Emaleth pranced up alongside, Dante initially faltered, only noticing that it was a small form and fearing perhaps it was her sister instead.  That was quickly allayed and he sighed slightly, glancing at Lasher apologetically.  "I see you come with a shadow."
