Silvertip Mountain The good and the bad side of life

Chaska had been down in the dumps. Full of a sense of failure after the passing of one of the alpha's. Fitz had been the first to show him kindness in these wilds. He barely had any inspiration for story telling. He had been busy moping around until a howl rang out. A very demanding one. He headed toward it, his head tipped down and tail low to the ground, his ears drooping. 

But then upon arriving, he saw something that lifted his hopes. The pups. He counted four of them. And there was still Zaria. He hadn't let the entire pack down. And it wasn't like it was his fault Fitz died. His ears perked up upon seeing the pups, and he slowly approached before stopping a few paces back, giving a look that asked for permission from Zaria.
