Precarious Situation

Erika watched sullenly as her friend Macawi walked away after apologizing to her. The black wolf felt a depressing mix of emotions: sadness, regret, anxiety, as the coyote diminished into the distance. The dark shade of a wolf, Tyrandre, followed her. The maimed wolf did not worry, for Tyrandre would not attack her friend. Erika was only worried that she may not see Macawi again.

The white alpha Jinx trotted after the coyote for a few paces before turning back, satisfied that an intruder had left her borders. The tangerine eyes flicked to Sitri, then her before Jinx gestured them to follow her. Erika looked at where her friend was heading and then back at Jinx, who was walking away. With a sigh, the black wolf followed her, hopefully, new alpha.
