The she-wolf had been enjoying the cool stream against her tongue until she heard the angry exclamation of a wolf not too far away. She jerked her head upright and little driblets fell from her mouth; with a cant of her head she bespotted the wolf who had involuntarily taken a dunk in the water. She was amused, but did not display it. Instead she simply stared at the silvery wolf, wondering if her eyes were working properly.
