The woman isn't alone for long, doesn't even have time to put the rabbit down and eat it, before she catches sight of another. Her fur bristles, head lowers protectively over her kill and throat, and takes a few steps back. A warning growl is all she offers, the taste of blood filling her mouth. Saliva pools on her tongue and she wishes to devour the thing then and there, but swallowing it whole isn't ideal. She hums quietly to herself before she takes a few steps back and considers her options. A lone wolf she may be, but relatively fed, if only thin and tired, she has no doubt she can at least run if she's threatened.
What stops Wynonna from dashing off immediately is the other introducing herself, and speaking, and she narrows her green eyes with scrutiny. "Why not?" she speaks, though it's muffled, unwilling to drop her kill without the chance to eat it. The territory had no claim to it, but she'd learned in her time as in rogue that anyone would be around the corner. Always on the lookout. It just so happened to be during her chase of her prey that her guard was down for other signs of life.
